Note, I did not use the word soup kitchen when describing sattvic, as it is a facility that gives out subsidized or free food to the needy (impoverished, homeless, etc.). Temple run food halls are for everyone, and do not imply that someone eating at one of these facilities is needy. The one run by Triumala Venkateswara Temple mentioned in the proposal feeds any where from 60,000 to 200,000 people daily and the pilgrims are from various backgrounds, so I do not think the tag soup kitchen applies here. This may require a new tag, food hall, Annadana/Annaprasadam Mandapam/Bhavan/Hall, and annaksetra are tags that I have thought of.

Shojin Ryori in Japan, Sachal Eumsik in Korea, and Zhai Cai in China, is the type of cuisine associated with the proposed Buddhist diet.

I am new, so I did not know if I should propose them within this proposal or a separate one. मार्गदर्शक (talk) 10:20, 7 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

diet:jain
diet:jain_vegetarian As jain is described as "lacto-vegetarian" the _vegetarian seems to be redundant?
diet:satvik

I did not see the other proposed at this moment. -- Kees 59 (talk) 11:09, 7 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
