A former railway track. The course of a former railway, which has been abandoned and the track and infrastructure removed, but the course is still visible.
How to map
Draw a line representing the former railroad track and add railway=abandoned + abandoned:railway=rail.
Can also be used together with highway=* (e.g. highway=cycleway) to tag paths or roads on former railroad lines.
