Access values are used to describe the legal access for various facilities.
This tag applies to objects where access for all types of traffic is explicitly restricted to agricultural purposes only, regardless of whether the vehicle itself is technically classified as an agricultural vehicle (e.g., tractors 
agricultural=*).
Note that access=agricultural applies to all forms of traffic, including pedestrians, horseback riders, and non-motorized vehicles, unless explicitly overridden by tags like foot=yes, bicycle=yes, or horse=yes. In most cases, using vehicle=agricultural or motor_vehicle=agricultural is much more accurate.

In both cases driving a motorcar

Possible tagging mistakes
agricultural=yes or access=agricultural but access=privateNote a closed farmer's access track would be access=private rather than access=agricultural unless the track is explicitly open to any vehicle used for agricultural purposes, e.g in a sign such as.
In the other case of a typical farmer's track with access=private, the owner is free allow access to anyone with any vehicle and any purpose and to refuse access to other users with agricultural vehicles and/or purposes at will (unless specific arrangements are in order).
