A structure embedded in the roadway that allows vehicles with wide enough track width, like buses, to pass without problems.

Failing to cross the barrier risks likely damage to the side panels and undercarriage. It may be difficult or impossible to drive out again.

Drivers of narrower two-tracked vehicles, like cars, will, however, be discouraged to drive into the barrier by the risk of falling into the dip.

Often accompanied with signage that further restricts who can legally cross the barrier.

How to map

Simply add the tag barrier=bus_trap to a node where the bus trap is.
