The tag building=venta may be used for typical Spanish inns (ventas) that are generally located in unpopulated and remote rural areas.

Distinction/conflicts

The building=venta tag is intended for ancient buildings that were historically used as ventas, whether they are currently still in service or not. It can be used in combination with historic=building.

More recent buildings that offer restauration and/or accommodation services not meeting this criteria should be tagged as tourism=venta.

How to map

Draw an area along outline of the building. If that is infeasible, set a node at the center of the building.

Add the tag building=venta and name=*.
