This tag is used on bus routes to specify that the service uses minibus-sized vehicles, especially if segregated into a distinct service category. Like regular bus routes, these services also operate on a fixed schedule and a fixed route.

A minibus, microbus or minicoach is a passenger-carrying motor vehicle that is designed to carry more people than a passenger car, but fewer people than a full-size bus. Minibuses typically have a seating capacity of between 8 and 30 seats. It is also common (but not required) for passengers to be able to board or alight outside designated stops.

Examples of minibus services include Lähibusseja in Helsinki, Green Minibus in Hong Kong, and Community Bus in Japan.

Unlike route=share_taxi, route=bus + bus=minibus are operated in exactly the same way as regular buses, with completely fixed schedules and routes.
