Emergency bleed control kits have started appearing in many UK high street locations in the past few years (see for instance this report in the Derby Telegraph. This has been driven by frequent stabbings, particularly late at night around entertainment venues. These are mapped and tagged in ways analogous to emergency=defibrillator. Most require a code given by the emergency phone line (112/999) in order to access the contents, and are painted red.
