A dangerous junction is an intersection that has a traffic sign which indicates a high rate of traffic collisions. This tag should be used only in cases that a danger of traffic collisions is warned by a traffic sign.
How to map
Tagging can be applied to the intersection node or the location of the signage:
- Place a node
at the location of the dangerous junction traffic sign, tagged traffic_sign=hazard (or code) + hazard=dangerous_junction.
- Tag a node
along a highway=* way
at the location of the sign
- Tag the
at the intersection of the two or more highway=* ways that make up the dangerous intersection.

This sign simply means we have priority at the next junction. It does not mean the junction is dangerous. Use highway=priority instead.
