Concrete plant is a facility that mixes the materials needed to make Ready-mix concrete.
Some facilities produce Precast concrete. The prevalence of product=precast_concrete is low, with only 10 uses as of May 2026, but using the tag can provide important refinement between a ready mix facility and a precast facility.
How to map
Set a node or draw as an area along the outline of the production site. Tag it with man_made=works + product=concrete. Then add the name using name=*.
Additionally, the site can be tagged with landuse=industrial + industrial=concrete_plant.
Supplemental information such as address, phone number, website, etc. should be appended to the works feature, not to the landuse feature.
