The key railway=loading_ramp is used to identify a place, from which cargo is loaded/unloaded to/from trains. These are usually similar in appearance to a passenger platform, level with train carriage floor, but used for cargo instead of passengers.
These can be found in stations, yards or along spurs, often adjacent to a warehouse from/to which cargo is moved.
How to map
Loading ramps are best mapped as areas, which is also reflected in its usage. In some cases, only the edge of the loading ramp can be drawn, similarly to a platform edge. Sometimes, a simple point/vertex at the end of a track can be used (similarly to a buffer stop), but it's better to map the whole loading ramp area.
