Commonality with OSM Tagging

Where possible, I prefer to see OSM type tags used for features commonly mapped in OSM (e.g. toilets, slipways, drinking water, telephones, water_point, pump-outs, locks) instead of seamark style tags. Both maps should benefit from your effor. Where seamark is the only viable tag, of course use the seamark tag. Brycenesbitt (talk) 19:41, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

Depth from IENC to OSM

Since openseemap has a depth project, wouldn't it make sense to also try to import depth data? I would be willing to have a look in how to do that with the common scripting (maybe in a github fork), but before I do that I would like to hear if anyone likes the idea.
