Example import is broken?

When using the plugin to import the 'Circle100.svg' sample file, the "Set the size ratio" step is not accessible.
There is an "Opening Files" progress dialog that does not complete and its "Cancel" button does not respond.
The "Set the size ratio" dialog is accessible after closing the progress dialog with the "X" button, but nothing is imported.

JOSM version: 14728, last change 2020-12-30 02:30.55
