Bugs

If you change height with green arrow in 3D-View, the value tagged will use a comma instead of a dot to denote fractional part. This might happen with some localizations of josm only, but the tag is international and uses a dot separator. --Cmuelle8 (talk) 02:38, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi Cmuelle8,

I tested the plugin. Green arrow in 3D-View doesn't introduce for the attribute "height" comma. Can you send me an example?

Thanks,

Andrei Maneasa

Hello Andrei, please try starting JOSM like this:
LANG="de_DE.UTF-8" java -jar josm-latest.jar
or use Preferences > Display Settings > Look & Feel and set a german locale temporarily there. Then use your plugin to modify building heights. A comma will be used as a separator. Using a C or english locale I get a dot.
The problem is that your plugin must not be locale dependent with regard to this tag value, since metric tag values in the database always use a dot separator, regardless of any locale setting. Greetings --Cmuelle8 (talk) 07:12, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I try this and yes the height attribute it's with with comma, but what I found is that the plugin doesn't generate the comma. When JOSM is set for Deutsch language, JOSM render the value with the comma. It's true that after you save the map height attribute is saved with comma, but I think this is a problem that would be nice to solve in next version of JOSM.
