Why was artist:wikidata=* chosen over artist_name:wikidata=*? It would make more sense from a coding standpoint to not have to manually associate the 'artist' prefix with artist_name=*. Cheers, --DrMxy (talk) 19:24, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

artist_name=* is an old style, with problems caused by this. It should have been artist=* or artist:name=* . Cf architect=* , and the usual operator=* etc. — Kovposch (talk) 04:47, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
