I looked at the usage of the tag and saw that the value ranges are mapped with "--". Only then did I realize that the they have been changed from "-" to "--" recently. But I think it's not a bad idea to have a record of the status, nonetheless. The tags are older than just a week. E.g. https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1196871705/history/1 was added 3 years ago. It was changed regarding the "-" / "--". So, not really a question on my part — more of a note. --Chris2map (talk) 15:57, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

The tag you mention uses "-" not "--". I don't think anybody but you considered ":" for this. What are your thoughts on mass change the tags during the discussion? --99 tabazan (talk) 17:38, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
