Talk:Key:camp type

This page was changed extensively from the previous version in 2017. The values were completely changed. And this comment was added: "The naming of the different campground types was changed and their definition adjusted. It is now identical to de definitions used in iOverlander, a highly regarded and widely used resource for overlander (see www.iOverlander.com"

It's only used a few hundred times for all the values, old and new, compared to many more uses for camp_site=basic/standard/serviced/deluxe

The proposal on which the old version of this page was based was rejected, with 6 votes against - a fairly strong rejection.

So I am changing the page to suggest that camp_site=* is a more commonly used key to define types of campgrounds, and I will add back the old values in addition to the new ones so that database users will know what to expect. --Jeisenbe (talk) 14:25, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
