Use on node/relation

The Key:access tag allows use on nodes, ways, areas, and relations. Is there a specific reason why `motor_vehicle` does not have the same usage? Example use on a node: `barrier=lift_gate` + `motor_vehicle=no` + `moped=yes`. Vorpalblade77-kaart (talk) 19:31, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

why not for gates?

Why "This property is used for all types of roads but not for gates." is supposedly applying? How restriction applying to gate would be tagged? Why using other tag for that would be better? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 14:14, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
