What is the meaning of the different values?
I don't understand how a mapper should distinguish between a "regional" or "international" or "national" shrine. What are the distinguishing characteristics?
On the linked wikipedia page I see this in regards to the Roman Catholic church: "The term shrine means a church or other sacred place which, with the approval of the local Ordinary, is by reason of special devotion frequented by the faithful as pilgrims. For a shrine to be described as national, the approval of the Episcopal Conference is necessary. For it to be described as international, the approval of the Holy See is required". But where is this information recorded? Is there a sign or plaque at the church building which says it is an internation shrine? --Jeisenbe (talk) 06:07, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- It depends on faith and not only in Poland. It is different for Catholics and different for Muslims or Pagans This tag is missing. For example, Jerusalem has a lot of shrines to map.

- I'm not asking for a hypothetical definition for a mosque which is used as a destination by pilgrims, I am asking how this tag is defined right now based on how you are using it in Poland. --Jeisenbe (talk) 01:25, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
