Merge with temporary:* namespace?

Should this set of features be merged with the currently proposed temporary:* namespace (see Proposed features/temporary (conditional))?

The Christmas market example using the temporary namespace:

Example on page Alternative using temporary: namespace

This way, the same format can also be used for other temporary features, for example Easter markets.

Temporary data

Obviously there's something a bit temporary about all of this data.

I don't know about changing the tags (above suggestion), but we definitely need to at least be much clearer about temporary data on this page. We should try to justify why it is acceptable to put this data into OSM. Would it be fair to say that we should only be mapping xmas:features if they are annually recurring? (as far as we know)

I reckon ideally somebody should build a nice example of the "separate database" approach around the christmas mapping idea, and then decant all of this data out of OSM and into it.

...but in the meantime, what could we say here in a new "temporary data" section on the page?

Nativity scenes / Christmas cribs

A feature that - in my opinion - is really missing from this list are nativity scenes - showing Joseph and Mary and the newborn Jesus. At least where I live (central europe) this is a common sight during christmas season. Can't imagine why it hasn't been included yet? I would suggest "xmas:feature=crib". Any other thoughts?
