Discuss State Of The Map 2010/Lightning Talks here:

Tidy

We need a useful list of actual talks which took plage. In fact we could move that list of talks alongside the others on the State Of The Map 2010 session list. At the moment though, I have no idea which talks happened and which didn't. Do the strikes mean they didn't happen? Please just delete them so we can move towards a useful list as a record of what happened -- Harry Wood 10:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

I've been in the small room almost all the time and I can confirm that most of the talks listed (even the stroked once) really happened. The only ones I'm not sure about are FEMroute and the one about mapping fire hydrants. I'm pretty sure the list is also missing a talk or two. -- Andrii V. Mishkovskyi 12:06, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Utter chaos. So what does a stroke mean then? Did somebody start striking them after they had happened? This is such a mess -- Harry Wood 21:40, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

I had a good list in my notes, I've removed some strokes and moved some to the top of the 'unknown' section. I feel it might be good for some of us to mark these as I know this did/didn't happen, 3 strikes and we delete it? Or someone could contact the users who are still unknown, they must know who was before/after them at least. Also, I'm pretty sure (non-scholarship) Lighting talks were only on Sunday? - LastGrape/Gregory 08:32, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Well done gregory. Looking a lot more useful now.
Do you think some of the lightning talk people will want to create their own wiki page about the talk? We could actually just move them to be listed alongside the scheduled presentation on the main State Of The Map 2010#Session list
