track?

https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:leisure%3Dtrack described leisure=track as "A track for running, cycling and other non-motorised racing such as horses, greyhounds." AFAIK summer tobogans are not racing, this is mostly for pure entertainment. This page recommends adding leisure=track tag. I think that it is misuse of leisure=track and this should be fixed Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 17:46, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

skating is also used with track and is no racing sport. equestrian can also use tracks, see relation example which is not really for horse_racing. Perhaps the current definition on Tag:leisure=track is too narrow. --Hufkratzer (talk) 15:48, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
Speed skating exists, it is even part of olympics ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_skating ). "racing track" is fairly established meaning, and I think that mistaggings are not popular enough to change meaning of this tag Mateusz Konieczny (talk)
leisure=track is popular choice for summer toboggans. Other tags used - railway, aeroway - don't fit. The wiki correctly describes how people are tagging these things, editing wiki and imposing "tagging for renderer" is not right way to change it. Maraf (talk) 13:17, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Are you proposing to change meaning of leisure=track (or claiming that OSM wiki describes it incorrectly)? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 18:02, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
