@Geozeisig why did you change the tags for fairways? Was there discussion on the tagging list?

landuse=grass

Landuse=grass or no landuse=grass? I'm going with no, but it doesn't seem like there's a consensus anywhere, at least not that I can find. So, I'm asking here first before I do any "no landuse=grass" fairway mapping in case I missed it. --Adamant1 (talk) 08:20, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

I've raised an issue on iD editor's github regarding their validation checks https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/issues/8748 TL;DR: No to landuse, use 'surface' if you wish. FYI OSM carto ignores all descriptive tags. No to 'leisure' & 'sport' as well. --DaveF63 (talk) 14:39, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
