Cleanup needed

The definition is not very meaningful. The pictured mast is rather: man_made=mast + tower:construction=guyed_lattice or tower:construction=guyed_tube.--geozeisig (talk) 10:46, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

If picture is wrong - why not remove it? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 19:22, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
I've replaced the picture. --SelfishSeahorse (talk) 15:17, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
The present picture is fairly good, showing 3 cell phone base antennas. There are a wide variety of antenna types, not possible to show them all in one picture. I'll add more words to the main page to assist the use of the tag, fingers crossed. Warin61 (talk) 05:08, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
Actually the image (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Obereisesheim_Sender1.JPG) was correct as the antenna starts from ground level. Where is the discussion for this change? Thanks once more for ruining the wiki. --Skyper (talk) 14:32, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Driven by the Germans

The German page on antennas has lots more on it!!! It has the poor tag antenna:type=* for both the function/purpose and the configuration ... not good. It also confuses mast as having an antenna on it .. could be a flood light, mast does not specify that it has an antenna. Warin61 (talk) 07:54, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

wifi

do not use it to map a wifi antenna of a router

Please add a See Also to the right page, then. Jidanni (talk) 20:48, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
