WHere is the difference to shop=clothes? --!i! 14:35, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

So what you think about? What brands are more boutiques than clothes shops for example? --!i! 20:42, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
In India we call boutiques as "Fancy shops" a simple english usage for the shop 'which sells the items which a teenage girl fancies' some of the items are ribbons, pins ,stickers(replacing bhindi on forehead),hair bands etc . --Pavi 00:13, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

How about creating a namespace like
(the same for shoes:* / furniture:* and others)

I think Pavi is right these are "fancy" shops
which may also sell other items than clothes,
so a namespace would be good to express exactly what they offer.

This way it's not that important what the shop is named (boutique/clothes/fashion or others),
you may anyway find what you're looking for, even if it's sold by a supermarket.

Definitions of boutique/fashion :
"A small shop selling fashionable clothes or accessories"
"a small store that sells stylish clothing, jewelry, or other usually luxury goods".

"A popular or the latest style of clothing, hair, decoration, or behaviour."
"Fashion is a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, body, or furniture."
