What is the reason to make this one unusual with version set as a parameter? Maybe do it like with other for consistency? Or even better, replace https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:138081166_2a56d66c27_b.jpg and get rid of that template as not needed anymore --Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 09:04, 1 September 2022 (UTC)

Hi Mateusz, with this attempt I wanted to avoid blowing up the license template list by having a lots of rarely used licenses for each version. As well for the overflowing list as for the maintenance hassle. To reduce second point, maybe we could switch to kind of solution in future: Keeping separate templates for each license version, but switch them into redirects to a license template in background, that combines all version numbers (The version would be passed per parameter). So when maintaining or updating text or icons, there would be only one template to be edited (One for all CC-BY-x.x, one for all CC-BY-SA-x.x, one for all CC-BY-NC-x.x, and so on). – But it's not that important.
