Mapping USA 2022 - November 10-12, 2022
Hosted by OpenStreetMap US, the second annual Mapping USA will be a virtual event celebrating the OpenStreetMap community across the country. This year we are excited about two collaborations: OSGeo's in-person FedGeoDay conference in Washington, DC scheduled for November 3rd and Wiki Conference North America. OpenStreetMap US: Connect 2020:
Connect 2020 was a free, virtual event to celebrate OpenStreetMap and our community. The event included an informal Mappy Hour Thursday evening, a scheduled ½ day of talks on Friday, and a day of workshops, birds of a feather sessions and mapathons on Saturday. An annual virtual gathering enables people from across the country to learn about OpenStreetMap and network with fellow mappers. A Mapathon is a coordinated mapping event. It is often held inside but can also be an outside or combined activity. OpenStreetMap US is happy to host and support with outreach for your virtual mapathon. Sign up here for an event or to let us know you'd like to host!
