I am a biophysicist whose interests include web-based collaboration and brain mapping. I have been keeping an eye on OpenStreetMap for years and was finally prompted to register when I followed a link to Kort Game from Wikipedia, where I am a regular contributor.

While I find many aspects of OpenStreetMap interesting, I am most intrigued by its humanitarian activities, i.e. https://www.hotosm.org/ . I have been involved in a number of similar activities on the Wikimedia end (for an overview, see Wikimedians for Disaster Response) and would like to explore how the OpenStreetMap and Wikimedia communities could work more closely on such humanitarian issues.
