I'm lakedistrict, and I'm a mapper who contributes mainly to the Windermere and Newcastle upon Tyne maps. I've always been interested in maps and mapping so finding out about OSM was great because now I can put my love of maps to good use. If you ever have any questions or queries about the mapping in Newcastle or the Lake District, then just get in touch, maybe through my talk page or by leaving a note on the map and I will look out for it!
If you are also a mapper in Windermere or Newcastle, then please add your name to the user lists on the appropriate wiki pages.
I have also helped with the Missing Maps Project at a wonderfully named event called a mapathon and hope to do so again in the future.
