About Me
Hello! My name is Thomas Hervey, but I often go by me360ot.
I am a Department of Geography graduate student researching geographic information science (GIScience), geographic information retrieval (GIR), and spatial cognition at the Center for Spatial Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I have used OSM data in my research, personal projects, and as a talking point at parties... you know, for those people who haven't yet experienced the power of collaborative mapping.
Most of the areas that I have lived have incredible coverage! However, Creede, CO, a place I often visited during the summer, has a lot of unmapped featured. There are many hidden jems, hiking trails, parks, waterfalls, and mines. I hope to go back this year and ground truth a lot of my edits.
