I've been on OSM since 2014. As of 2025, I'm mostly involved in outdoor mapping, QA, and maintaining Wiki articles.

On rarer occasions I do Armchair mapping and HOT mapping. I used to be involved in automation.

Automation

I used to operate automated bulk edit scripts in Israel from 2017 until 2021. All of the scripts are currently inactive. The archive is at User:SafwatHalaby/scripts.

As of 2025, gtfs2osm is active in Israel. It's an independent project developed by NeatNit, and is a recreation of my older GTFS bus stop import script.
