I think that the table is great, the only thing i do not like is the "in OSM" column. It is NOT the OSM style to introduce table of addreviations, common names are used everywhere. I think that however difficult it might be in few cases to decide upon short common name of the order, it should be done for benefit of all. --Jakubt 22:42, 11 April 2012 (BST)
Polish equivalent of religious order shortcuts.
This is a list of abbreviations of religious orders and societies, monks and nuns.
Now, to mark the church belonging to the convent, I use the tag operator=<name of religious order>, but I wonder as if it would be better to tag operator=<religious order abbreviation>. What do you think? --Władysław Komorek (talk) 16:57, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
Names of orders
Adding an order
Near my home there is a monastery belonging to the “Daughters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus/Figlie del Sacro Cuore di Gesù/Institutum Filiarum Sacratissimi Cordis Jesu”, which I couldn’t find on your list. I think the abbreviation is F.S.C.G. For now I’m going to tag it as order=FSCG, but I was wondering if it would be fine to add it to the list.
