not rendered my mapnik

Please, do not specify in the map features tables if mapnik is rendering or not the feature. First, this information can quickly change. Second, the description in the table has to be as short as possible. We already have to many verbose descriptions there. Third, mapnik is one renderer among others and there is no reason to talk about mapnik and one style and not about the others (cyclemap, topomap, etc). You can talk about mapnik support in the detailed page about the tag. --Pieren (talk) 13:27, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

"The point is: if software does not understand a particular tag value, the tag value is not as useful. The problem for example occurs with shop=* or amenity=* even more often. If it's not shown by popular or case-specific software, it is as if the object does not exist."
I understand this point. It's something we often hear from newcomers (not motivated to add features not rendered). But if you want to see a missing feature on the main map, you should better contact the map style maintainers directly here. This will be much more efficient because the maintainers will not see your wiki changes and even get this as a request for improvement. Perhaps your request is already in the queue ;-) Also don't forget that your contributions might be missing on the main map but they can be used by other software applications like street directories, car sat nav, street name finders, other rendered styles, etc. --Pieren (talk) 10:04, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

Authorship

Are you author of that new swing image that you uploaded? Have you took that photo?

yes. Jengelh (talk) 22:16, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
Is it also true for street cabinet images from https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Category:Utility_cabinets_in_Germany&action=edit&redlink=1 ? Currently there is only public domain claim with no explanation why. Also, would you be fine with {{CC0-self}} license which avoids some problems of {{PD-self}} ?
