We map whatever is verifiable.
The next contributor will come and add them again if they're visible on aerial imagery / LIDAR / from the street.
By adding access=private no-one will be routed over this path.
A map with private roads helps delivery services and emergency services such as the fire brigade.
There are a lot of "explorers" who use for example Strava to see where people actually go. If they don't see a path in OSM, they will be triggered!
But this will help thieves!
But OsmAnd shows it as publically accessible!
But this is personal data about me
It's probably visible on aereal imagery, on open lidar maps, in open governement databases, ...
