Construction

• Tag a feature as being under construction:
  • building=construction
  • highway=construction - for road construction or long-term closure due to rebuilding the road
    • Conditional restrictions - used (among other purposes) for short term road closures
  • landuse=construction
  • railway=construction
• construction=* – to describe the type of the feature which is currently under construction.
• start_date=* - use this tag after the construction is finished to denote the real start of existence of given object.

Consider Lifecycle_prefix based on planning, construction phase, or status. Do not use this tag for features that have not yet begun construction.
