- @Discostu36: That's a good point. I added highway=* to Homonymous keys, which is one way to track keys that have no one-to-one mapping to real-world concepts. I guess if we really needed to, we could devise some qualifiers to indicate that nuance, or we could even create a Wikidata item to represent the OSM highway=* key in all its complexity. But it's probably of little practical value, since each of the values can already have its own Wikidata concept (P12) statement. – Minh Nguyễn 💬 00:29, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
- It may be more useful to have property "no matching wikidata item" - though anyway, most keys have no matching to wikidata entries Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 10:28, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

- @Mateusz Konieczny: That's fine as a temporary measure until a Wikidata item is added, if ever. Wikibase has a built-in representation for that: you can click the

@Wynndale: There's a proposal to remove this link from the infobox templates altogether. For now, "no value" is being treated the same as having no statement about Wikidata. Would it be better to explicitly display "no Wikidata item" on the infobox? That could be confusing out of context. – Minh Nguyễn 💬 21:13, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
