The electricity key is used to indicate the electricity source used in a building, a dwelling or a settlement. The tag should be put on building features (building=*
) or on small residential areas (landuse=residential
) using the same electricity source. It is also used on various standalone healthcare=*
, amenity=*
and similar elements.
Values
Values for this key should be filled with the type of electricity source, or if it can't be specified or missing, with yes
or none
. Use as follows:

If there is a schedule, conditional restrictions can be used. As an example, one can use electricity:schedule=grid @ (17:00-22:00)
