The use of this key has been undocumented. This page documents the current occurrences. It has not been created to propose or recommend the use of this key.
Building levels
The key levels=* is mainly used in combination with building=* to provide the amount of levels or floors in a building.
Instead, two much more common keys can be used:
- building:levels=* – The number of above ground levels in a building.
- roof:levels=* – The number of levels in the roof of a building.
Not to be confused with:
- level=* – Zero-based floor number of a feature (where 0 is the ground level and -1 is the basement).
- layer=* – Describes the vertical relationship between crossing or overlapping features.
Power levels
There are some undocumented uses in combination with power=*, too.
