ref:veiligheidsregiocode=* is the 2-digit reference code, assigned by the Dutch government to each safety region (Dutch: veiligheidsregio) in the Netherlands.
The codes are assigned by Statistics Netherlands (Dutch: Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek).
The codes are sometimes written with a prefix VR, to clarify that the code is a veiligheidsregiocode. These prefixes are not included in the tagging. Data consumers can prepend prefixes themselves as needed.
