Key:self_harvesting

Indicates whether plants, fruits or vegetables can be picked by the customers themselves. Typically used for a pick-your-own farm (aka PYU-farm or UPICK-farm). Some of these organizations allow free picking (within a limit), others may charge a price per weight or have an subscription fee.

How to tag

• On amenity=vending_machine with vending=flowers to indicate the payment box near a self-harvest flower field
• landuse=farmland with e.g. crop=flowers, crop=strawberry, etc.
• landuse=orchard with e.g. trees=apple_trees, etc. for a pick-your-own apple farm

Possible values

• yes : Self-harvest is possible, but already harvested (and possibly packaged) items can be purchased too
• only : Only self-harvest is possible
• no : (Default assumption) No self-harvest is allowed
