title:

user page info (OpenStreetMap edits)

body:

Note "A user’s profile page should also include links to the wiki pages of the organised edits and organisations they participate in on an ongoing basis." from https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Organised_Editing_Guidelines

https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Petr%20Fuk%C3%A1tko https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Pan%20Pern%C3%AD%C4%8Dek https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Mamutinka https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Iva%20Kosarkova

all should link https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Organised_Editing/Activities/Mapycz and preferably also explicitly mention being mapy.cz employee

You can set that in user setting of OSM account.

Please let me know if you need help with that

PS Thanks for forwarding reports! In Poland many of them were possible to be used even for remote editing, other remain for further processing.

Would it be feasible to allow users to include also photos and reports and post notes with links to photos? That would allow to process even more of them without visiting location.

RE: user page info (OpenStreetMap edits)

Hello.

We have added links https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Organised_Editing/Activities/Mapycz to our profiles, only Iva Kosarkova haven't, she's not in work right now. She will add link soon.

We do not have a public library of photos that our users send us. There aren't many of them anyway.

Adding entire reports to a note is possible, but often not very useful. Our users rely on us to see a screenshot of their screen, so for the sake of clarity, we find it better to shorten the report and pinpoint the essence than just blindly rewriting it. I know you wrote to editor Mamutinka about notes. We will try to improve their content. Do you think that will be enough?

Thanks for a quick reaction, I forwarded info to original confused mapper.

Rewriting notes is fine, better than just copy pasting original report.

Maybe have "#Mapy.cz user anonymously reports" or "Forwarding anonymous report from #Mapy.cz user"

not

"#Mapy.cz user reports"

to make it a bit more clear?

One thing that would be useful is to add also link to affected OSM element if it is clear - this way it is easier to check is not still applicable.

Like I did with comment in https://www.openstreetmap.org/note/2497682

It makes a bit easier to process issues

If photos are sadly unavailable then well, it is hard to add something not existing.

Though ideally it would be nice for reporters to have option to easily attach photo (with permission to make it available publicly and use it for OSM editing), but I understand that this functionality would need to be implemented.

"She will add link soon."

Great!

I updated https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mapy.cz/email_to_contact_point_reminding_about_missed_part_in_Organised_Editing_Guidelines https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Organised_Editing/Activities&diff=2090586&oldid=2090065 https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Organised_Editing/Activities/Mapycz&diff=prev&oldid=2090584 https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Mapy.cz&type=revision&diff=2090585&oldid=2089989
