What

Removing tags that are useless duplicates of standard tags.

Following tag will be removed:

• atm=yes from amenity=atm http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/JW8
• transportation=fuel from amenity=fuel http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/JWe
• sustenance=restaurant from amenity=restaurant http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/JWh
• sustenance=fast_food from amenity=fast_food http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/JWc
• service=post_office from amenity=post_office http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/JWa

Why

This tags serve no purpose (in cases of being a blatant duplicates), may confuse mappers and removing them manually is a waste of time.

Numbers

Large enough to make removal with bot faster than manually.

Changeset would be described and tagged with tags that mark it as automatic, provide link to discussion approving edit, link repository with source code etc. It would include at least

• automatic=yes
• bot=yes
• discussion_before_edits=https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2019-June/082710.html

Changeset split into small areas to avoid continent-sized bounding boxes. As this tag is on buildings it is not expected that any object will force bounding box to be extremely large.
