Tagging scheme

All buildings imported from BAG include the following tags: building=*, ref:bag=*, source=*, source:date=* and start_date=*. If a building no longer exists, it will also contain an end_date=* tag. In some cases, buildings may also have a start_date:source=* or end_date:source=* tag, in case the start_date or end_date in BAG is incorrect or can be made more specific.

building	The type of building. Note that the BAG import files only set the right value for a few of the possible building values. For instance, building=church is not known to BAG, so church buildings are just set to building=yes. Also, all residential buildings are automatically tagged as building=house, including apartment buildings. These need to be manually changed to building=apartments.	Het type gebouw. Let er op dat in de BAG-import-bestanden slechts een aantal van de mogelijke waarden standaard goed staan ingesteld. building=church kent BAG bijvoorbeeld niet, dat wordt gewoon building=yes. end_date	If a building no longer exists, it is also tagged with an end_date=* in the BAG import files. The value is an exact date, which is the date on which the building was marked as 'demolished' in BAG. It is possible that the true date of demolition is different. If this can be determined with a source, end_date=* may be changed to that date. The source should be tagged with end_date:source=*.	Als een gebouw niet meer bestaat, bevat het in de BAG-import-bestanden ook een end_date=*. De waarde hiervan is een exacte datum. Dit is de datum waarop het gebouw in de BAG als 'gesloopt' is gemarkeerd. Het kan zijn dat de werkelijke sloopdatum verschilt. Als deze door middel van een bron is te achterhalen, kan end_date=* gewijzigd worden naar die datum. De bron dient dan in end_date:source=* te worden gezet.
ref:bag	The reference ID of the building in BAG. On the OHM website, when looking at the details window of the building, one can click this number to see the building on the official BAG Viewer website.	Het referentie-ID van het gebouw in BAG. Op de OHM-website, kan je in het detail-venster van het gebouw op dit nummer klikken om het gebouw op de officiële BAG Viewer-website te bekijken.
source	The value of this tag will always be source=BAG. When no other source tags are present with the building, it is implied that its geometry, start_date=* and (if applicable) end_date=* are all from BAG. If any of these are not from BAG, there should be a different tag with the source, being respectively source:geometry=*, start_date:source=* or end_date:source=*.	De waarde van deze tag is altijd source=BAG. Als het gebouw geen andere source-tags heeft, komen de geometrie, start_date=* en (eventuele) end_date=* allemaal uit de BAG. Als een van deze niet uit de BAG komt, moet er een alternatieve source-tag zijn, namelijk respectievelijk source:geometry=*, start_date:source=* or end_date:source=*.
source:date	The BAG database is routinely updated. This tag gives the date of the version of BAG from which the building was imported.	De BAG wordt regelmatig geüpdatet. Deze tag bevat de datum van de versie van BAG waaruit het gebouw is geïmporteerd.
start_date	The year of construction of the building that is registered in BAG. Note that the BAG is not infallible; the year of construction can be incorrect. If someone is certain that the year of construction is incorrect, it may be changed. A source or the reasoning for why the year of construction must be different is then included in start_date:source=*.	Het bouwjaar van het gebouw zoals dat in BAG staat. Let er op dat de BAG niet zonder fouten is; het bouwjaar kan dus niet kloppen. Als je zeker denkt te weten dat het bouwjaar niet klopt, kun je het aanpassen. Vul vervolgens een bron of je eigen redenering in met de tag start_date:source=*.

Appartementengebouw: hier is start_date=* veranderd, omdat deze vanuit BAG veel eerder was dan het gebouw ernaast, terwijl de gebouwen er bijna hetzelfde uitzagen. De redenering is toegevoegd aan start_date:source=*.	Hier is start_date=* ook anders dan het eerdere jaartal in BAG. In dit geval is er een website als bron toegevoegd in start_date:source=*.
