Welcome to the Canadian project page for OpenHistoricalMap!

Sporadic mapping has been done across the country, but are generally focused on either railways, highways, or municipalities. For more details, visit the project pages of each province. If a page is not created yet, it is likely that not much have been mapped there yet.

No matter your experience, every contribution counts towards making a better map!

If you are just getting started, here are some mapped features that may serve as a guide for tagging. It is also encouraged, if available/possible, to add different languages to names of features.
