Description

The site of a climbing wall - an artificial wall for rock climbing practise and training. Can be indoor or outdoor.

Tagging

key=sport value=climbing_wall
key=type value=indoor|outdoor

The icon could be some sort of climbing gear - maybe a carabiner, or a section of rope, or both.

Feel free to comment here.

If we want something more specific than 'sport=climbing', I'd prefer adding something like 'artificial=yes/no', 'indoor=yes/no' Robx 20:12, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- this is aimed specifically at artificial walls, so the articial yes/no distinction is of no value. indoor has been added Myfanwy 21:57, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be better not to use "type=.." but "climbing_wall=indoor|outdoor". With that change I would approve this proposal immediately :) --Cbm 08:02, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

I oppose this proposal. but I would approve it with "climbing_wall=indoor|outdoor" instead of "type=..." --Cbm 08:04, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
