Usage

Rationale

This proposal is for dedicated kids areas, zones and rooms. We have Amenity_features with kids_area=*. But sometimes it's necessary to map kids_area separately, because sometimes kids_area is an independant amenity not a part of other amenity like fastfood or department store.

Also there is a case when we have huge facility and want to map kids area precisly. For example: if we have big airport terminal and want to map kids_area explicitly.

Additional tags

kids_area=* type of kids area/zone. indoor, outdoor etc. It's also usefull for backward compatibility with Amenity_features#kids_area.3Dno.2Findoor.2Foutdoor.2Fboth

supervised=* Is there supervisors stuff who takes care of kids, or it's parents duty.

fee=* Is it free or not.

toilet=* Is there toilet or not.

opening_hours=*

maxstay=* Time limit. In some cases you can't leave kids longer than for N hours.

Why not a playground?

Playgrounds are usually outdoor facilities, kids playing rooms and areas are usually not.

Playgrounds almost newer are supervised by any kind of stuff. Kids areas and rooms, in most cases have employees who takes care of kids.

Also there is different kind of activities for playgrounds and such subj. Sometimes such areas have tv with cartoons, or drawing accessories, sometimes there is a teacher and kids could take part in small workshops, crafting something.

Main point - there is difference in activities:

Playground - go and play active games with kids. Subject - leave kids for a couple of hours in a safety and interesting place and do boring adults businesses.
