Is not public transport

This can be a public service (or might be a private / self organized service in some occasions), but it isn't public transport. There is probably no "transport" (not 100% sure on this), and most importantly, it is a service only for pupils, not for the general public. Additionally, I also don't think the term "platform" applies. Please propose different tags. --Dieterdreist (talk) 21:24, 6 May 2018 (UTC)

I can be agree that it isn't a public transport. But it's public, because in principle it is for children but everyone can join it, and it's a trasport because it have schedulded time and line where it pass. My idea was to map the stop station where there is the signal of the walking bus line. So what to do you think should be me mapped? --LorenzoStucchi (talk) 08:10, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
Yes, I didn't question it is a public service in your case, what I wanted to say: it doesn't necessarily have to be a public service in order to be worth tagging. I appreciate that you agree it isn't public transport, so I believe the suggested tagging should be changed. If there are defined and publicly known (e.g. signposted) routes it still can be a type=route relation. Also the stops can be tagged, but I would NOT use public_transport=platform or stop for these. Maybe amenity=walkingbus_stop? I don't have strong feelings what it should be called. --Dieterdreist (talk) 14:15, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
Amenity it's quite a general tag and it also used both for education and trasportation features, so this good be a cool solution. Isn't it too much general, in which subcategory it should be used, education, transportation or others? --LorenzoStucchi (talk) 14:18, 12 May 2018 (UTC)

type=route

I think you should also add something how to tag the routes. There were some suggestions on the mailing list. —Dieterdreist (talk) 19:55, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
