Proposal:Bookstore

shop=bookstore

A shop selling new or second hand books and maps

Question: why not only shop=book (like shop=bicycle)? --netCuRLi 21:43, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

shop=bookstore is indeed a bit redundant. As I'm always for short tags I agree with NetCuRli. -- Fröstel 23:17, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It would be nice to distinguish new/second hand bookshops, and maybe antiquarian bookshops as well. They should probably all be shop=book with maybe another tag like book_condition=new/used/antique. --Geoff 20:01, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I want shop=book tag too. Its better than bookstore.
I'm using shop=book tag, as in the other shop tags.Kresp0 00:06, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think a Geoff's idea the better Lucadelu 20.05, 9 february 2008 (UTC)
I also like Geoff's idea with shop=book and the additional condition tag, and I would like to see some voting for this item -- Dieterdreist 13:08, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have a problem with either, but shop:book is shorter, and takes less to type by hand Logictheo 07:33, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
