OpenStreetMap usage
Supreme Maps Downloader can work with compatible XYZ-based map services, including services using the common tile scheme associated with OpenStreetMap.
Users should follow the usage policy and licence conditions of the selected map or tile provider.
The public OpenStreetMap tile servers should not be used for unrestricted bulk downloading. For large-area downloads, an appropriate third-party provider, self-hosted tile server or locally rendered OpenStreetMap dataset should be used.
Use of Supreme Maps Downloader
A map source and geographic area are selected in the application. The requested imagery can then be downloaded and exported as a georeferenced GeoTIFF or BigTIFF for use in compatible GIS applications.
LiDAR
Supreme Maps Downloader includes a dedicated workspace for compatible LiDAR, elevation and point-cloud data sources. This can be used for terrain analysis, surface modelling, archaeology, infrastructure analysis and other three-dimensional geospatial applications.
Availability
Supreme Maps Downloader is available for Windows through the Microsoft Store.
