A post depot or delivery office. A place where letters and parcels are collected and sorted prior to delivery.

These are primarily distribution centres and generally not open to the public except for a customer service desk, to collect mail which could not be delivered successfully or to drop mail off for delivery.

There may also be post boxes available outside the building.

This tag may also be used courier premises, for example on industrial estates.

  • name=* - if it has a particular name.
  • operator=* - which company operates it.
  • ref=* - could be used if there is a identifying number of the post depot.
