Today, there is no electricity-producing fusion reactor. First one is expected in 2033 (DEMO). All current nuclear reactors use generator:method=fission. However, ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor), the world's largest and most advanced experimental tokamak nuclear fusion reactor, is currently being built at Cadarache, in the south of France.
